Fund-raising was both stressful and difficult due to the fact that corporate sponsors had limited resources and could not finance to the extent that had been previously predicted. As time progressed, the situation worsened simply because the district school board received financial cuts due to the reduced provincial budget. ... youth group for 5 and a half years. Every Thanksgiving we take food to those that cannot get out and come to church. This service helps each person in the youth group to think of others and realize the fact that there are many unfortunate people in the community. During my eleventh grade year, I helped to get the FCA started. We have always had one for people to take pictures with, but we began to have meetings and devotions. Now the FCA meets every Friday after school. I feel that this has helped me to become a leader, and see how it is to begin something that needs to be done.
