... The sun, and both ships are now closed up in the thing and are increasing their velocity as they head for some minuscule object way in the distance. The team of explorers decide to catch the other ship but it is on the opposite side of the sun. It takes them a few days but they finally reach the other ship. The only thing that they cannot figure out is how to make contact with the other ship. They have exhausted every possibility and the only thing they have done is wasted time. They are floating in nothing, the scenery looks black and the only thing that they can see are the sun, the other ship, and the thing that they are flying towards. The ship surroundings are so amazing t ...
... The glue did not ignite the black powder, so we filled up the pipe with hot glue. We then screwed the steal cap back on the pipe with the fuse sticking out. We were done with making the bomb. Last we decided what did we want to do with it now that it was done. All of us were in a destructive mood at the time. So we ended up going out in the middle of the woods where no one lived for 10 miles. We found these bed mattresses that someone threw away. So we stuck the bomb in between there and lit it and took off in a car. We were about 1 mile away, and we stopped got out of the car. All of us were sitting there wondering if it would go off or not. It was about 2 minutes and nothing happ ...
... over, but no. All of a sudden the ground started shaking, more and more. I heard someone scream "It's an earthquake". I ran towards the house, but I never got inside. All of a sudden something fell in my head, and I passed out. The next thing I now I'm laying in my bed. I get up and looks out the window. Everything so far I can see is destroyed, except from our house. It was built on solid ground. The earthquake had filled the village with water. It took years to restore the village. ...
... do something now!", demanded the distressed lady standing right at the bed side. I had seen this man before, although I had never spoken to him. I had know idea that he was not in a stable health. "All right, all right," I replied in frustration, not knowing exactly what to do first. I looked at the 84 year old overweight male patient. He appeared very pale with his brown colored eyes half shut looking desperately at me for some sort of help. My mind was becoming blank, as I could not believe what I was about to experience. In training we were told this could happen from time, to time, but I never thought with me. We were also told how to deal with the death of a patient, ...
... was the worst part of my job, and I know the other receptionists I worked with felt as I did. Most of the patients were quite rude about having to pay this before they even saw the doctor, but if you didn't collect this co-pay the patient would never stop to pay it on their way out of the office. They would make us feel as if we were actually pocketing this money and going to luch with it. It was so humiliating at times the ruckus they would make, because it would make the other patients that were in the waiting area stare to see what all the noise was all about. The last two years I was a medical receptionist, I found myself getting more angry and dissatisfied that I could no longer co ...
... bent down, but he did not notice it as his nose had long become insensitive. The Elder shook his hands dry and glanced up at the position of the sun. It was high overhead, indicating noontime. He sighed, knowing that in a couple of hours his son would bring his family from Toronto to visit him. He did not like his son very much, but he put up with the annual visits for the sake of the grandchildren: he was their only link to their heritage. For one month a year he would show them how their ancestors lived. How he lives. He thought back to his last visit to the Hogtown, more then twenty years previously. An early morning walk along the lakeshore was ruined by the consta ...
... affairs and does have time to care of what's going on in their surroundings. The citizens of New York City would care less about the traffic safety and reading the traffic signs. The smell of the city reminds me of the honey roasted peanut stands, a sweet scent of aroma that would often fill up the neighborhood. When I close my eyes and think deeply about NYC, there has been a chime in my head of the messengers blowing their whistles to fight in the traffic while slicing left and right to get to their destination. New York City taxi drivers are the "killers" of the rush hour. Taxi drivers within the city are not afraid to use their horn. I must give a great deal of respect to the ...
... peak at the class; scanning the room for someone to talk to. When I saw no opportunities I began to get a bit timid, but as soon as the bell rang I felt all right. We went through the motions for awhile: filling out paper work, introducing ourselves, all the first day stuff. I heard a few kids say they were new to the area, of which Brian Vedder was the only boy. He wasn't much to look at, not a soap opera star, or a great athlete, just a regular kid. Nonetheless I thought I'd like to meet him and talk to him later on in the day. By this time we all were becoming restless, and I definitely knew why. Everyone was waiting for recess, the time when kids get to have fun and let it all ...
... from the faceless man. Beson was not one of those little tricky magicians, no, he was a true magician who used real magic instead of illusions, for Beson had served Seripita for more than five hundred years yet he did not look a day over thirty five. Beson had come across thousands of kings and had not found one half as sinister as King Peyna, so when prince Anders came seeking a solution Beson was more than grateful to conjure a plan to eliminate and rid the kingdom of the horrible Peyna. Beson told Anders of the dangers and punishment of yet the prince shook his head solemnly and replied one phrase that burned within Beson and forced him to believe that Anders was in fact the most co ...
... have to rummage for more comestibles. He searches and explores the depths of the city of Transylvania until he spots a beautiful woman in her late twenties. He knows this woman, but of course his untamed edacity overpowers his will to spare her. He advances toward her and prepares himself for the assault. In a matter of seconds he is on top of her lashing at her stomach, unleashing a torrent of fearsome strength. With an uncontrollable rage, he fastens his incisors, again and again, into the frenzied victim's flesh, tearing at it like the savage beast he is. After the moon waned, Gregory was left with memories of that horrendous night. The wild beast was no longer in him but he kne ...
