Everyone has something that in some significant way means something to them. Edvard Munch believed that art had its own significance altogether. Munch was a beautiful and innovative artist, although, his life was not as joyful as many people .... Middle of Term Paper ... a Technical College to study the art of architecture, but several spells of illnesses interrupted his studies. A year later Munch became more interested and more serious with the art of painting and sculpting, so he left the Technical College. In 1881, he enrolled in the Royal School of Drawing. There Munch studied the old masters, attended courses in painting of the nude, and he learned the skills of freehand and modeling. He was instructed by Norway's leading and finest artist, (at that time) Christian Krohg.
