Interview With An Alien
Start of Term Paper
Ida Kannenberg, an elderly lady, lives in
Hillsboro, Oregon, where she and her husband own
and operate a successful antique shop. Although she
is now nearly [eighty], she continues to travel all

companion," who answers to the name of Hweig.
Mrs. Kannenberg realizes that Hweig would be
explained away by conventional scientists in terms
of split personality or some other form of mental
