The focus of this research is to assign a Kuhnian perspective to the possibility of terraforming one of Earth's neighboring, terrestrial planets. I decided to utilize "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions" by
Thomas Kuhn, as a primary sour .... Middle of Term Paper ... human existence on that planet. In order to accomplish this, technology must be aimed at three specific, vital areas: The creation of an aquatic medium, a terrestrial plateau and celestial ether that is conducive to human respiration. There are two planets from which to choose: Mars and Venus.
Martyn J. Fogg authored what is regarded as a textbook of the future called Terraforming: Engineering Planetary Environments. I have chosen Fogg's book as my second primary source because it is the only book of its kind that addresses the question of terraforming in a non- science fiction context.
