C.A.F.E. represented Western Tech.’s adult student body at many city wide meetings. In one of these meetings, the Toronto Adult Student Alliance, known as T.A.S.A, was created in order to fight back the government's bill 160. In October of 1997, T.A.S.A. decided to hold an adult student rally at Queen’s Park. We needed to give a good impression at the rally, so that the government would see that we were really serious about defending our rights for an education.
