Each of theses hemispheres are divided into 4 regions names as the bone of the skull that lies above it. The outer layer of the cerebrum is called the cortex. The cortex is mainly made up of nerve cell fibres. The cerebrum cortex is folded into a surface with many ridges and grooves.
