To take a stand for something one believes in is an admirable and heroic feat. It takes courage and strength to go against the masses with an unpopular viewpoint. Though standing up for what we believe in isn't always the easiest thing to do, .... Middle of Term Paper ... was most obvious. To her it was humiliating to have to feel so inferior to whites. In addition to her job she also worked with the Montgomery Voters League, an organization which helped African Americans pass the tests which had been set up to keep them from voting. She was also well known for her work with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).
