... think she sees a part of him that went unnoticed before. She realizes that she doesn’t really know him and that he may not be as sweet and kind as she had imagined. She is now able to see the nasty side of him. When she cries out she seems to be almost afraid of the hand meaning she is actually afraid of him. When the hand is moved she is calmed again, but only until the morning when she sees it again. I still do not understand why she kisses it.
