In Shakespeare’s Macbeth, a major part of the plot revolves around Lady Macbeth’s and Macbeth’s reactions and judgments of each other. The discernment that they have of each other is completely contrary. Not only are their views very different .... Middle of Term Paper ... he has “ almost forgot the taste of fears.” Nothing even shocks him anymore. He is “ in blood stepped so far that … returning were as tedious as go o’er.” There has just been too much blood shed, and he knows that there is no going back for him. However, he still reveals that he is “ but young in deed.” Many innocent people have died, and Macbeth still thinks he needs to do more.
